Clientele Served

Adults from the Medicine Hat area who need supervised support during withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs.

Program/Service Description

• provides clients with detoxification and withdrawal management services in their homes or at an alternative safe location
• offers services including screening, nursing assessment and detox care plans, all based on medically accepted practices
• provides three to five detox visits and referrals to follow-up services

Referral Information

• Call anytime to arrange an appointment for services.
• People experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms should be referred to a 24-hour supervised residential detox centre or hospital.
