Clientele Served

• adults who want to live free from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs and gambling
• spouses, parents and significant others (for the Family Program)

Program/Service Description

• provides a 48-bed residential treatment facility for men and women who are recovering from addictions
• offers a three-phase intensive treatment program that includes individual and group counselling, information sessions, skill development, recreation and leisure activities, and participation in self-help groups
• offers a Tobacco Cessation Program for clients who wish to address their tobacco use along with their use of alcohol or other drugs
• offers a one-week Family Program designed for adults affected by someone else's problems with substance use or gambling. Family Program Applications and Information Sheets are available from Lander.
• offers a one-week Beyond Sobriety Workshop designed for people who have maintained abstinence for a year or more.

Referral Information

• A completed Application Form (including health assessment) is required before an admission date is arranged.
• Brochures and Client Information Sheets are available from Lander.
• Clients need to be able to fully participate in all aspects of the program.

• $40/day room and board fee applies for Alberta residents.
• $125/day fee applies for residents of other provinces.
