Clientele Served
Adults with serious gambling problems who want to stop gambling and are willing to actively participate in all aspects of the program.
Program/Service Description
The NAC Gambling Treatment Program is a 3-week intensive, residential treatment program for men and women to learn the skills necessary to make positive changes and live their lives free from the harmful effects of gambling.
The NAC Gambling Treatment Program includes
- daily interactive workshops and lectures
- therapeutic group counselling
- structured leisure activity options
- participation in self-help groups
- a two-day family program
Referral Information
- For the best service phone our admissions secretary or contact the nearest AADAC office.
- A completed residential gambling treatment application is required before an admission date is arranged.
- Stabilization is available for clients experiencing severe problems as a result of gambling.
Additional Notes
- $40/day room and board fee for residents of Alberta (no fee for outpatient clients).
- $200/day fee for out-of-province clients.
- Outpatient clients are responsible for their own meals.
